Only a single chassis of th 005 was ever built and was designed around Jackie Stewart and his style of racing. it was used in 72,73 and 74 and won two races.


This decal set is 1/32 scale and was designed for the French Scalextric version of the Tyrrell 005, but may well fit other 1/32 scale versions

After the death of Francois Cevert and the subsequent retirement of Jackie Stewart, the Tyrrell team turned to Patrick Depaillier and Jody Scheckter to pilot the 006 for 1974.  It had gone through some modifications, but was clearly slower than other contempory cars and was retired later that year in favor of the 007

Developed in 1972 for Francois Cevert, it actually went on to win the 1973 drivers championship in the hands of Jackie Stewart


This decal set is 1/32 scale and was designed for the resin body kits produced by DNQ (Simon Brereton on Slotforum)

This set depicts Didiers team mate from 1978 Patrick Depaillier. It has some subtle differences - as in the Elf Oil Elf logo on the side pods

Melchester Racing ran the Tyrrell 008 in the Aurora British F1 Championship in 1979. This set can depict the car raced by Desire Wilson, Gordon Smiley or Neil Betteridge

Tyrrell 009 from 1979. Driven by Didier Peroni and Jean-Pierre Jarier. The team finished 5th overall and went on to use the car for the first two races of 1980 as well before moving to the 010. The "Tyrrell" livery was used for the first half of the 1979 season

This livery was used in the later half of 81 by both Cheever and Alboreto

The Tyrrell 011 made its first appearance at the German GP in 1981 and was driven by Eddie Cheever to 5th place. Ii won 2 races during its career both times driven by Michele Alboreto. This set depicts the car during its first few races in 1981 with the Tyrrell livery

The Tyrell 015 from 1986 was driven by Martin Brundle and Phillippe Streiff. It was powered by the Renault Turbo engine and was only the second turbo powered car Tyreel and run.  its best result was 4th in Australia, by Martin Brundle


Designed for the NSR 86-89

Later in the year, the Tyrrell team gained Camel as a sponsor. They also gained Jean Alesi as a driver. This livery depicts that version of the car.

The car for 1994 from Tyrrell was the 022 and was a reasonable effort. Driven by Mark Blundell and Ukyo Katayama, it was the last Tyrrell to score double points and get a podium

The 023 was designed for 1995 with Mika Salo coming in to replace Mark Blundell and Ukyo Katayama. Salo scored in several races and had a good year, but Katayama struggled.
